Eucharistic Minister
Assist the priests in distributing Holy Communion at Mass or bring to shut-ins. Training offered by Diocese at various locations. Contact Theresa Gach
Hospitality Minister
Hospitality Minister is one who, most importantly, welcomes members & visitors to our SFX community. Responsible for taking up the collections at Mass & distributing weekly bulletins. No class to take. Commitment is 1-2 times monthly. Other ushers will help guide and/or direct you. Contact Tony Luke
Lector Ministry
To proclaim scripture in our worship so that the faithful may take the words of scripture to heart, mind and spirit.

Art & Environment
Help decorate the church for the different liturgical feasts and major feasts. Contact Marilyn Beck
Sacristy Helper
Help set up the vessels, liturgical books, and altar area before Mass for Sunday Mass, Funerals, or Weddings.

Church Cleaning

Washing Church Linens

Adult Choir

Interactive men’s program combining the best research from science with the teachings of the Catholic faith and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of a man fully alive. Seeks to form men who will be capable of transforming homes and society.

Vacation Bible School
For 4 year old through 4th grade; meets in mornings for one week in early June.

School of Religion
Teach our Catholic Faith to students attending public school, k through 8th grade. Classes are generally 10 students or less. Meets once a week on Mondays, September through April. (No teaching degree is required.)

Funeral Luncheon
To provide a Luncheon normally after the funeral for family members and friends of our parish. Volunteers may be
called to bring a covered dish for the luncheon. Volunteers who have the time may stay to help serve the luncheon.
Time involvement would depend on the number of funerals we have at St Francis.

Sunday Morning Coffee and Donuts
The Coffee and Donuts committee sets up coffee and donuts served after Sunday Masses September through April. Commitment would be 3-4 times per year. Allow 1 - 1½ hours for preparation and clean-up.

Helping the handicapped experience God in their own way.

ACT Program (Active Christians Today)

Sewing Group
Opportunity for fellowship, learning how to quilt, embroider, & do crafts. Meets every Thursday 9:30am–1:30pm. Contact Nita Card
Mailings/Bulk Mail Preparers
Help stuff envelopes and prepare mailings for all parishioners. Maybe two hours every couple months.

Welcoming New Parishioners
Committee gets in touch with new families in our parish either by phone or letter. Let them know about the Ministries, and organizations available at St. Francis, and inquiring if they have any questions concerning St. Francis Parish. Contact Willie Clark
Vocation Committee
To enhance and develop with the parish an atmosphere supportive of priestly and religious vocations. This atmosphere will include opportunities for parishioners to pray for, learn about, and encourage these special ways of life. Contact Bob Whetsell

Make a commitment to pray in your home for vocations and receive a cross at church as a reminder.

Landscape Committee
Design, plant, and maintain the outdoor flower garden spaces on our church property. Choose large or small sections. Contact Jill Huntsman
Buildings & Grounds Committee
Prioritize needs and potential concerns for the future of our facilities. Brainstorm potential resources within the parish to respond to those needs, both volunteers and parishioners in the construction industry, and network with them. Scrip Program

Altar Society

1-2 meetings per month and unlimited growth opportunities.

Social Outreach
Giving Tree Helper (Advent)
This ministry was organized to facilitate the process of collecting and giving gifts to the needy at Christmas. Volunteers attend a few meetings during the autumn season into the Advent Season.

Open Door Food Kitchen

Habitat for Humanity
Building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends. Homeowners are expected to contribute 400 hours of labor alongside volunteers, Contact Don Rokusek
Respect for Life Committee
We are called as Catholics to advocate for the sanctity of life whenever and wherever it is threatened. We try to educate and inform our fellow parishioners on the preeminent importance of defending all human life, especially the lives of those who are the weakest and most defenseless; the unborn, the elderly and the dying. We invite all parishioners to share their gifts of time, talent and treasure, as they feel God calling them to do, in this important work of standing up for the Right to Life.
